Inspiration is Contagious

I am writing this with excitement! The Parkinson’s Place Launch party was a success. The idea to bring together the community has finally come to fruition and I am very humbled to be a part of this journey. 

I know that if we can share not only the resources but spread the love, laughter, and friendship that we have within this group, Las Vegas will be a healthier, happier, and more fulfilled place. I say Las Vegas because I refuse to single out people with Parkinson’s as only having the ability to inspire others with Parkinson’s. Tonight every person I met inspired me in some way. Greg got me thinking again about running and the baby steps I need to take to get me there. Lyles got me excited to dust off my golf clubs and work on possibly a new and improved swing. Fred inspired me to keep working on my fastball and even a slider if I’m lucky.

I don’t see Parkinson’s, I see people… And we can all learn from one another.
