Differentiating Parkinson's disease from atypical parkinsonism can be challenging, particularly in the early stages of the disease, but is both critical and essential for determining best treatment practices, improving disease management and enhancing overall quality of life for persons receiving a diagnosis.

 

To learn more, the Movement Disorders team invites you to attend Lunch & Learn this Wednesday, October 17th from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm for an engaging and informative presentation on Atypical Parkinsonism’s by Jenny Nguyen, MSN, FNP-C.

 

Please note that while Lunch & Learn is offered during the “lunch hour” it DOES NOT include lunch. Light snacks and water are available. Please feel free to bring a lunch from home or purchase food from Rachel’s Kitchen located through the breezeway in our inner courtyard. Call ahead (702.722.6814) and your lunch will be ready for pick-up when you arrive.
